Friend’s Coastal Restaurant reopened with fanfare on April 24, following an $8 million reconstruction of the venerable restaurant along the Tchefuncte River in Madisonville. Owner Ryan Richard, Operations Manager Jennifer Adams and Executive Chef Matthew Standefer greeted hundreds of partygoers who came out to celebrate the occasion. Guests enjoyed Rockin’ Dopsie, Jr. and the Zydeco Twisters while noshing on a diverse sampling of Friends’ signature items.
